Fondue Night - January 2026

This January, the Swiss Society of New York kicked off the new year in the most Swiss way possible – gathered around a pot of fondue. What began as a simple winter get-together has now become a cherished SSNY tradition.

We were delighted to welcome members and friends to Lavaux Wine Bar in Midtown Manhattan for an intimate evening of connection, conversation, and of course, plenty of melted cheese. With its warm alpine ambiance, Lavaux provided the perfect setting to bring a touch of Switzerland to New York City during the winter season.

Guests enjoyed traditional Swiss fondue alongside a curated selection of Swiss wines, while reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new members of our growing community. From longtime SSNY supporters to those attending their very first event, the evening reflected what our Society is all about: fostering Swiss culture and building meaningful connections here in New York.
