Jass Tournament - April 2025

The Swiss Society collaborated with the Lavaux and organized a Swiss customary Jass Tournament on Sunday, April 6th. It started early in the morning at 10am and around 10 teams with 20 participants started their rounds in the randomly assigned teams.

Playing in total 3 opponents in group stage games, each party had 60 minutes to play 16 rounds against each opponent. During the well deserved breaks, the players could indulge in a buffet style charcuterie and cheese board, giving the energy to then even compete in a final fourth round. In this fourth finals game, the teams were playing against their rivals, trying to get their points back and securing the points victory.

In the end, the team of Markus Bruderer and Moritz Marti established themselves as team with the most points, securing the wine gift box (including two bottles of wine and a wine set) as a first place.

With this being a first tournament, we are looking forward of continuing the tradition in the future!
